Pestilence
Our rating
Spice: moderate. Darkness: very dark.
The apocalypse is here, and firefighter Sara Burns shoots the first Horseman with an arrow. He doesn't stay dead, and now she's his captive on a road trip of plague. Grim premise, banter-heavy delivery. War, the second book, is many readers' favorite.
