The Lion and the Deathless Dark
Our rating
Spice: moderate. Darkness: very dark.
Kyrene is a bounty hunter who kills the goddess she swore to serve, then makes a deal with the vampire prince Septimus to hunt the rest of the gods. Darker than the cover lets on. The middle runs long, but the slow burn earns it.
